Multi-Day Remote Mothership Fishing Charters
Our mothership charters run between March and December and offer the perfect blend of comfort, access to remote fishing grounds, and world-class angling.
- March to May – The Barra Run-Off (Shady Camp)
During the legendary Barra Run-Off, we position the mothership at Shady Camp, targeting trophy Barramundi. Some reef fishing can also be included upon request, but the focus during these months is on chasing big Barra. - May to December – Tiwi Islands / Melville Island
Outside the run-off season, we shift to the Tiwi Islands, which offer outstanding Barramundi, reef, and sportfishing opportunities.
Using the mothership as our base means more time fishing and less time travelling. You’ll return each day to all the comforts of home, including air-conditioning, hot showers, private bathrooms, a full kitchen, and space to unwind.
Our experienced, local guides will tailor each day’s itinerary to suit your preferences and work hard to ensure you have the fishing trip of a lifetime.
Target Species & Fishing Techniques
Each day, you’ll fish a variety of remote systems and habitats depending on location and target species. Techniques include trolling, casting, live baiting, jigging, and more.
Shady Camp (Barra Run-Off Season)
- Barramundi – Focused sessions using soft plastics, hardbodies, and vibes to chase trophy-sized fish.
- Optional Reef Fishing – Golden Snapper, Black Jewfish, Cod and others, using bait or lures.
Tiwi Islands / Melville Island (May to December)
- Sportfishing – Spanish Mackerel (jigging), Trevally (poppers), Tuna (surface casting), Queenfish (stickbaiting).
- Reef Fishing – Target species include Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Emperor, Nannygai, Coral Trout.
- Barramundi – Versatile options from trolling and casting hardbodies, soft plastics and vibes.
- Mud Crabbing – Drop the pots and enjoy a feast of Top End Muddies!
