Half Day (4 hour) Reef & Sport Charter

Perfect for those with limited time, our Half-Day Reef & Sport Fishing Charter is a great introduction to Darwin’s inshore fishing. To maximise your fishing time on this 4-hour trip, we stay close to the city and fish the waters of Darwin Harbour. Each charter is tailored to the day’s tides, weather conditions and seasonal fishing, allowing our experienced guides to target the species that are biting and give you the best possible experience in a short timeframe.

We typically run these charters in the morning or afternoon, depending on conditions – just let us know your preference when booking.

Given the shorter timeframe, we’re focused on making the most of the available time. Your half-day trip might involve reef fishing, sport fishing, or sometimes a bit of both, depending on what the conditions allow and where we have the best chance of action. We can’t promise the same variety or results as our full-day charters, but it’s a good way to get out on the water. Our guides are on hand to offer tips and assistance with techniques. We’ll also have snacks and cool drinks available to keep you comfortable throughout the trip.

Full Day (8 hour) Reef & Sport Charter

Set out on an unforgettable 8-hour full-day fishing experience exploring some of the Northern Territory’s most reliable and productive fishing locations. With years of local experience behind us, our crew carefully plans each trip around the day’s tides, weather, and seasonal patterns to give you the best possible chance of landing quality fish.

Your day kicks off with a relaxed meet and greet at Dinah Beach Boat Ramp (around 6:30am, tide dependent), followed by a thorough safety briefing and an overview of what to expect on the water. As we head toward our first fishing spot, enjoy a light breakfast and take in the early morning conditions.

Across the day, you’ll fish a variety of proven locations, enjoying a combination of reef and sport fishing. Depending on conditions, techniques may include bait fishing, jigging, casting, and popping. Our knowledgeable guides provide hands-on support and friendly instruction throughout the trip, helping anglers of all skill levels improve their technique and make the most of every opportunity.

We keep you comfortable and fuelled with a steady supply of snacks, cold drinks, and a satisfying lunch.

At the end of the day, you can choose to keep your catch or release it. If you decide to take fish home, our crew will clean, fillet, and bag your catch for convenience. All fishing is conducted in full compliance with Northern Territory regulations and bag limits, ensuring a responsible and sustainable fishing experience.

Extended Day (10 hour) Reef & Sport Charter

Embark on an epic 10-hour extended day fishing adventure to somm of the Northern Territory’s most productive and remote fishing grounds. With the added time on the water, our highly experienced team draws on deep local knowledge to venture further afield and carefully tailor each charter around the tides, weather, and seasonal conditions—placing you in prime positions for exceptional fishing opportunities throughout the day.

Your adventure begins with a friendly meet and greet at Dinah Beach Boat Ramp (approximately 6:30am, tide dependent), followed by a comprehensive safety briefing and a detailed outline of the day’s plan. As we cruise toward our first destination, enjoy a light breakfast while soaking up the early morning conditions and building anticipation for the action ahead.

Throughout the extended day, you’ll experience an exciting mix of reef and sport fishing across multiple hand-selected locations. Techniques may include bait fishing, jigging, casting, and popping, allowing ample time to explore different methods, target a wider variety of species, and adapt to changing conditions. Our expert guides are on hand at every stop, providing personalised instruction and one-on-one assistance to help you refine your skills and maximise your success.

To keep you comfortable and energised over the longer charter, we provide a continuous supply of tasty snacks, refreshing cold drinks, and a hearty lunch.

Whether you prefer to keep your catch or practise catch-and-release, the choice is entirely yours. Many guests choose to take fish home, and our crew will professionally clean, fillet, and bag your catch for convenience. We strictly adhere to all Northern Territory fishing regulations and bag limits, ensuring a sustainable and responsible fishing experience from start to finish.

Inclusions

  • Experienced fishing guide/skipper
  • High quality Shimano fishing equipment. We provide 3 seperate outfits per person to suit the various techniques throughout the day.
  • Light breakfast and lunch (One or the other on half days)
  • Plenty of snacks
  • Refreshments including cool water, juice and soft drinks
  • No additional costs for lost lures and jigs!
  • Our team will fillet clean and bag your catch and provide you with ice for you to take your catch home
  • For an additional fee, our team can freeze your fillets at our base and pack into an airline approved seafood box, for you to fly/transfer your fish back home with you as check in baggage.

  • Casting poppers and stickbaits for pelagics such as Giant Trevally and Queenfish
  • Jigging for Spanish Mackerel
  • Casting jigs and lures for Longtail Tuna
