Established in 2016, Offshore Boats has become one of Darwin’s leading reef and sport fishing charter operators, delivering unforgettable experiences on the iconic waters of the Northern Territory. Built on a passion for fishing, adventure, and exceptional customer service, our team is dedicated to creating memorable days on the water for anglers of all skill levels.

With decades of combined experience across the tourism, marine, and fishing industries, the Offshore Boats crew brings extensive local knowledge, professionalism, and a genuine love for the Top End lifestyle to every trip. From chasing Barra in the estuaries to targeting reef and bluewater sport species offshore, our experienced guides are committed to helping guests experience the very best fishing the Territory has to offer.

Our modern fleet of high-speed, comfortable, full-cabin vessels is purpose-built for Top End conditions and maintained to the highest standards of safety and reliability. All Offshore Boats vessels operate in full unrestricted 2C Australian commercial survey, allowing us to fish up to 30 nautical miles offshore while providing guests with comfort, confidence, and peace of mind.

Owned and operated by Jordan, who has extensive experience within the Northern Territory tourism and marine industries, Offshore Boats was built with a focus on quality, safety, and delivering genuine Territory fishing adventures.

Our Team

Jules

Growing up on the coast of Victoria, Jules has always had a strong connection to the outdoors and adventure. Before settling in the Northern Territory in 2003, she travelled extensively around Australia, embracing the country’s diverse landscapes, lifestyle, and love for the outdoors. Drawn to the warmer climate and relaxed Territory way of life, the NT quickly became home.
A proud mum of three beautiful kids, Jules also spent eight years running her own successful online clothing business before discovering her true passion for fishing in 2021. Since entering the industry, she has immersed herself in the NT fishing scene — particularly barra fishing — competing in multiple barra competitions across the Territory. Over the past four years, she has landed three metre-plus barra, with a personal best of an impressive 112cm.
At Offshore Boats, Jules works in administration, reservations, and marketing, and is the first point of contact for guests. Friendly, approachable, and passionate about customer service, she plays a key role in helping every client feel welcome and well looked after from their very first enquiry through to their time on the water.
Jules brings her entrepreneurial background, passion for the outdoors, and genuine love of people into her role at Offshore Boats. She is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every client has a positive and memorable experience, whether they’re seasoned anglers or new to the boating lifestyle.

Jon

Jon is a proud father of five awesome kids and a lifelong Territory local with a passion for all things hunting and fishing. He received his first fishing rod before he could even walk and has spent most of his life exploring the waters of the Northern Territory.
A former Middle School Teacher, Jon is a natural instructor who loves sharing his extensive knowledge of finding fish, reading the water, and helping guests reel in quality catches. His patience, enthusiasm, and experience make every trip enjoyable for anglers of all skill levels.
Over the years, Jon’s passion for fishing, and mastering the waters around Darwin, became more than just a hobby. Now, he gets to do what he loves every day: helping guests experience the excitement and adventure of Top End fishing.

Ryan

After finishing school in 2008, Ryan made a beeline for the Northern Territory to explore its pristine ecosystems and experience the world-class fishing he had always dreamed about. Over the past 18 years, he has spent countless hours exploring the Top End and developing an incredible understanding of its waterways and fishery.
With a combination of sharp instincts, local knowledge, and years of experience on the water, Ryan has a natural ability to find fish from any vessel in the Offshore Boats fleet. His passion for adventure and fishing shines through on every trip, helping guests enjoy an unforgettable day on the water.
When Ryan isn’t guiding charters, you’ll rarely find him sitting still — he’s usually off on another wild adventure somewhere in the Territory with his 8-year-old daughter.

Antman

With years of experience navigating the waters of the Top End, Antman is a passionate fishing guide who knows exactly how to put guests on the fish. After spending more than 20 years working in the trades, he turned his love for the Territory lifestyle, boating, and fishing into a full-time career on the water.
A skilled boat handler and dedicated angler, Antman has spent countless hours exploring the NT’s waterways chasing Barra, Black Jewfish, GTs, reef species, and other iconic sportfish. His deep understanding of local tides, conditions, and fishing techniques helps create unforgettable experiences for anglers of all skill levels.
Known for his easygoing personality, strong work ethic, and love of meeting new people, Antman is passionate about sharing the excitement of Top End fishing with every guest who steps aboard. Whether it’s your first trip or you’re chasing a bucket-list catch, he’s committed to making every charter a memorable adventure.

JB

Born in France, JB’s passion for fishing and adventure has taken him all over the world. With more than 12 years of experience working as a fishing and dive instructor in Norway, followed by 6 years guiding anglers in New Zealand, he brings a wealth of international knowledge and experience to the Offshore Boats team.
In 2023, JB visited Darwin and quickly fell in love with the Top End lifestyle, incredible waterways, and world-class sport fishing opportunities and he’s called it home ever since, Since then, he has embraced everything the Territory has to offer and enjoys helping guests experience the excitement of fishing in one of the most unique environments in the world.
A dedicated and experienced guide, JB is passionate about creating safe, enjoyable, and memorable fishing adventures for every guest on board. Whether targeting reef species, sportfish, or iconic Top End favourites, his calm nature, professionalism, and enthusiasm make every trip a great experience.
Fluent in German, English, Norwegian, and French, JB enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing his love of fishing and the outdoors with guests from around the world.

Robbie

Growing up in North Queensland as part of a commercial fishing family, Robbie developed a passion for the water from an early age — learning to drive a dinghy long before he could drive a car. School holidays were spent chasing Barramundi and mud crabs throughout the Gulf of Carpentaria, building a lifelong connection to fishing and the outdoors.
For the past 26 years, Robbie has called the Northern Territory home, spending countless hours exploring its waterways and refining his knowledge of Top End fishing. His passion for the sea and adventure remains as strong as ever, and he loves sharing that passion with anglers from all around Australia.
With decades of experience on the water, Robbie brings a relaxed nature, local knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm to every charter. Whether guiding guests onto quality fish or simply helping them enjoy an unforgettable day in the Territory, he believes there’s no better office in the world than the open water.

Jordan

Jordan spent much of his childhood walking the banks of southern Australian rivers chasing Murray Cod, Yellow Belly, and Trout. His passion for adventure and fishing eventually led him to the Northern Territory in 2006, drawn by its world-class fishing and year-round tropical lifestyle.
Over the years, Jordan has built extensive experience within the NT tourism industry, working across a range of operations including 4WD tours, fishing charters, airboat tours and helifishing adventures. In 2016, he turned his passion into reality by establishing Offshore Boats.
As the owner and operator of Offshore Boats, Jordan is often the first point of contact for guests. While much of his time is spent behind the scenes running the business, he’s happiest out on the water chasing fish and sharing the incredible fishing experiences the Top End is famous for.
When he’s not on the water, Jordan and his wife Yvonne are kept busy raising their three young boys.
