Here is a great shot of a 68cm Golden Snapper outside Darwin. You can see the fish clearly in 17m of water with the P66 transducer on the HDS Live 9 on the rear fishing deck.
We went over this small reef at high speed and saw some fishing holding. Without the P66, we would not have seen fish at that speed. We marked the waypoint on the sounder, turned around and motored back … this was the first fish in followed by a bag of solid Goldies.
Our guests really appreciate being able to view the sounder on the rear fishing deck.

Exceptional teamwork from Darwin locals Rebecca and Nikita on yesterday’s Billfish charter resulted in the capture of this solid Black Marlin offshore Darwin.
Ofcourse it took the smallest pusher in the spread, the 4″ soft head!
2-2-1 Black Marlin and 1-1-0 Sailfish.
A quick photo then swam and released unharmed.

An awesome start with a bag of Jewfish and a bag of Goldies all before 10.30am.
This gave us the opportunity to push on and get stuck into some reel screaming sportfishing!
Jigging for Macs, Queenies and Tuna on the topwater, Trevally down deep and some nice reefies on micro jigs.

We are open again! On the 30/4/2020 we recieved advise from the Northern Territory Government that some COVID-19 restrictions have been eased and we are now able to continue running our fishing charters!

We understand the uncertainty for our interstate guests in making future travel plans due to current COVID-19 travel restrictions. However, we also understand how you how much you would like to book in a holliday and get out on the bluewater when this is all over! So, we have chosen to offer our guests greater flexibility and assurance for future bookings in 2020.

For all bookings made for 2020, before the COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted, you will have the opportunity to reschedule to a later date free of charge if you are unable to  join your booked fishing charter due to flight cancellations, if we are not operating due to physcial distancing or any other COVID-19 restrictions.

Although we anticipate the travel restrictions will be in place for a few months, we do operate all year round and you are welcome to make your bookings for any date in 2020 🙂
